Red Velvet Cookies
" From-Scratch, Soft and Delicious!"
Watch me make these cookies from start to finish!
Ingredients:
- 1 Stick of Salted Butter
- 1/2 C. Sugar
- 1/4 C. Brown Sugar
- 1 TSP Vanilla
- 1 1/2 C. All Purpose Flour
- 1/4 Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 White Chocolate Chips
- 1 TSP. Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 TSP. Baking Soda
- 1 Egg
- 10 Drops Red Food Coloring
- 1 TBS. Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 Tsp Milk ( add more if needed)
Directions:
- Preheat oven on 350ยบ
- Add butter and sugar to a medium size bowl.
- Blend the butter and sugar together.
- Add vanilla extract and food coloring.
- Add the egg to the bowl, blend.
- Add flour, baking soda and cocoa powder to the bowl. Blend.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a medium scoop place cookies on the baking sheet.
- Press the dough down with your palm.
- Bake for 12 minutes.
- Let cookies cool.
- Combine powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl.
- Drizzle powdered sugar mixture over the cookies.
- Enjoy!
- Depending on the desired thickness skip Step 12.
- For a crispier cookies bake longer.
