Merlot Beef Tips


  • 2 lb of beef stew meat (cubed)
  • 2 tsp of season salt
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 1 can of beef broth
  • 1 cup of Merlot Wine
  • 1 tbsp of crushed garlic
  • Garnish with parsley
  • 4 tbsp of flour
  • 6 oz of sliced white mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • salt/pepper TT( To Taste)

*****Steps 1-5 are optional.****
1. Cut the steaks into chunks
2. Season the steaks with salt, seasoning salt, pepper and garlic salt.
3. Coat the steaks in 2 tbsp of flour.
4. Add 2 tablespoon of olive oil to the frying pan.
5. Brown the meat.
6. Add meat to the slow cooker then add flour, minced garlic, mushrooms, onion, Merlot and beef broth.
7. Cook on low for 8 hours.
8. Serve over rice.
